march 1st

The day has finally arrived.

trip to the US.

My first flight left at 6.40 am which ment i had to b at the airport at 4.40am and this meant i had to get up at 1 am.

i couldnt really sleep cause i was super excited so i was up at 8pm on february 29th.

my first flight to brussels was amazing. it was super smooth and i actually enjoyed flying.

my second flight (brussels to newark) was very different. i flew with Jet Airways which came from india. there were so many ppl on that flight including lots and lots of babys and toddlers.

well u know how it goes, one baby starts screaming and another one starts too.

first i was happy that my seat was near the bathroom, but i changed my mind cause every 10 minutes i had a breeze of poopsmell coming by. all the food we got was currybased. so u can imagine the smell on that 8 hour flight. one good thing though: they had hundrets of movies. i watched the dark knight, fight club and the usual suspects and that was the flight.

I landed safely, i took forever to get through all the security and stuff but around 1.30 pm i finally got to see my friend nicole who had a sign prepared. very cute.

we went to her apartment to get rid of all of my luggage.

there also is wildlife in NJ :)

we went grocerie shopping which was already pretty exciting for me cause its a lot different from germany. we made yummy tacos for dinner

after that we were just chilling and went to bed at 9 pm. i was up for over 34 hours feeling amazing. it was an amazing first day in the US. yay america
