A new week

This week started off to be a good one.
Monday was crazy warm and sunny. I actually wanted to go into the city again to visit some museums. Unfortunately being a woman sometimes means that you have to face some discomfort or let's say it this way: Your belly hurts like hell. Girls you know whats up.
So I didn't wanna be too far from the house but still take advantage of the weather.
I decided to just take a walk around Edison. There was a park not too far I wanted to check out. For Americans this isn't super exciting. But for Europeans there's lots to see. I enjoy the different style of architecture and just seeing the supurbs makes me happy.

So this is my current street. I like Edison but it isn't my favorite place. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty but I think Millburn spoiled me with its gorgeousness. Btw I'm gonna be in Millburn this weekend. I can't wait.

The "park" was pretty disappointing. I wouldn't even consider it to be a park. It looked kinda dirty and there was nothing but a lake.

I still enjoyed the walk cause I got some sun and I got to see the neighborhood.

I have to say I do NOT like that color for a house. Who does that? WHY? Maybe it's purpose was to being photographed and blogged about.

I found this cute church. I couldn't go inside cause I would melt but still...I liked the outside :)

After my walk which was like 90 minutes I chilled a bit at the backyard and got some more sun. I got a nice tan. But I think I was in the sun for too long. I felt all dizzy and weak. Obviously I needed a nap. I just wanted to lie down for an hour. Turned out to be three after all. Whoops. But it made me feel a little better.
At night John made a fantastic dinner. It was stir fry and it was just sooooo good. I couldn't move an inch I ate so much. I definitely want him to make it again, so I can watch how he makes it exactly and make it back home.
After that feast I was just chilling on the couch and went to bed at 1am.

Tuesday:
I met with James again to go to the mall (again). I needed to get an outfit for the party on saturday.
First we went to the Menlo Park Mall. No luck there. I actually looked up exactly what I wanted, so I knew where to go. Unfortunately they were out of everything there. We went to another mall and checked basically every store. After hours of looking I was ready to give up but THEN I found EXACTLY the clothing items I had looked up online. I was soooo happy and even found another piece that I liked.
I'm not gonna post pictures yet. Maybe after the party. But I can tell you what it is: I bought a black crop top, black skinny jeans and a long floral kimono with fringes. I also got a shirt and a purse (black and gold). I didn't even spend 100 bucks which I think is pretty good.
You guys have no idea how happy I am. I haven't bought clothes in a while so this was fun.
After James dropped me off I just went straight to the living room, got my laptop and worked on this blog for you. Also...I had last nights dinner leftovers for dinner today. Still pretty damn good. Today was a good day.
